Tessa is a true Summit County local, and this is the place she calls “home”! Born in Vail, before the hospital in Frisco, she grew up in these beautiful mountains and was able to enjoy everything that living in a smaller, resort community had to offer. Receiving a number of state awards while swimming for the Summit Swim Team and being a Rotary exchange student with summer trips to Austria and Italy are just a couple highlights. She has traveled way beyond Colorado as well with family and school trips to Thailand, England, France, Belize, Mexico, Costa Rica, Jamaica, and even Haiti on a dental mission trip.
Growing up with a horse in her backyard led to future equestrian achievements and eventually travels in the National Arabian Horse Show World. But home events were always the most enjoyable with the local 4-H program and the beloved, historical Mountain Community Fair. Of course, she still enjoys everything that the mountain lifestyle has to offer with skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, backpacking, fishing, gold panning and hiking: especially with her beloved, dog Kavik.
After completing her education with an Associates Degree in Science with an Emphasis in Nursing and business, she explored various “real life” jobs as she had learned, early on, the value of a good work ethic. Her catering experience at Ridge St. Kitchen in Breckenridge over the past five years has provided invaluable training opportunities to work the local service, tourist, lodging and restaurant industries both in the private and public realm. Especially rewarding was contributing in the many local community events.
After receiving her real estate license in 2015, Tessa began interning with Luxury Mountain Lifestyles and learning all the various aspects and dynamics of this challenging yet rewarding field. One of her first sales was $1.2 million! Now a full time broker associate, she is 100% invested in the real estate business and the future of Summit County. She has received the first hand training along with the knowledge and experience needed to continue to thrive in her real estate career here in Summit County!
