Tessa is a true Summit County local, and this is the place she calls “home”! Born in Vail, before the hospital in Frisco, she grew up in these beautiful mountains, with her grandparents in Breckenridge, and was able to enjoy and experience everything that living in a smaller, ski resort community had to offer. She earned prestigious state awards while swimming for the Summit Swim Team in high school and was selected as a Rotary International exchange student to Austria her senior year. She developed a love for other countries and cultures with subsequent traveling for studies and vacationing in numerous other countries including a dental mission trip to Haiti.

Growing up with a horse in her backyard led to Tessa into equestrian achievements and extensive U.S. travels in the National Arabian Horse Show World as well. But Summit County home events were always “the most enjoyable” with the local 4-H program and the beloved, historical Mountain Community Fair. These experiences also gave her a better knowledge and understanding of the rural and ranching aspects of this multi-dimensional area and surrounding communities.

Tessa still takes the time to enjoy everything that the mountain lifestyle has to offer: skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, backpacking, fishing, gold panning and hiking, while including her beloved, dog Kavik whenever possible.

Having completing her education with an Associates Degree in Science with an Emphasis in Nursing and business, she has explored various “real life” jobs over the years as she perfected a good work ethic and the necessary, personable “people skills” to thrive in a real estate career. From retail security operations, a catering business in Breckenridge to being part of our local home health care system; Tessa knows our local community dynamics well, while developing those imperative local, networking connections.

Tessa entered the real estate profession in 2015 and, with a good “eye for the details,” has been working alongside her mom, Nancy for the extensive training needed while adding to the multi-dimensional services that a “team” approach offers. She now has had a number of her own successful closings (see the testimonial site) and made her mark as an excellent real estate broker in  our community both for the local and second home purchaser. She is your next, younger generation real estate broker… here to stay and being 100% personally invested in her real estate career and the successful future of Summit County.
