Learn More about Me as a Long Time Local and Real Estate Broker
I am your Summit County Real Estate Expert with years of successful closings in the Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Dillon, Frisco, Keystone, Silverthorne and Wildernest areas. Let my well rounded real estate experience work for you, whether selling or buying a property here in Summit County. My strategic marketing plan offers my Sellers the opportunity to get the maximum value for their Summit County property. I enjoy the challenge of finding the best properties for my Buyers and introducing them to our lovely destination resort area. I understand the dynamics of this area and have the contacts in all of the various co-oping industries that makes an important real estate transaction run smoothly. My “free” time is spent with family and friends skiing, hiking, golfing and biking, all of which is just the BEST here in Summit County; as well as traveling for international mission work.
Real Estate Career and Community Involvement
Growing up in the Midwest, my parents built their vacation home in Breckenridge in the pioneering 1970’s. After graduating from Colorado State University, I started in the real estate business by investing in my own properties in Colorado Springs. After getting into the business full time, I transferred my real estate career to this beautiful mountain area in 1982 and survived the tumultuous 1980’s to establish myself in the real estate industry in Summit County. Over the years, I have raised two daughters here and have been actively involved in serving on numerous committees and leadership capacities that has helped build our fine community to what it is today. My youngest daughter, Tessa now works along side me as a partner and Associate Broker.
Professional Experience
The knowledge and expertise it takes to offer the best and most professional real estate service does not come quickly here with our ever changing resort area. It takes years of acquiring knowledge of our communities, with established connections to offer the best and most reliable services possible, going far beyond just good internet marketing and an online presence. Working well with the fellow real estate brokers in our small town community is an imperative skill. I also keep up with the legal and educational classes, professional designations which sets brokers apart, and the most recent marketing trends to stay at the cutting edge and changing demands of this profession. I find it is very important for them to stay as informed as possible during the decision making process, and I enjoy adding that personal, detailed service that keep my real estate transactions smooth and enjoyable along the way.
